Community Arts Grants
Supporting art in our community
The Community Art Grants program is dedicated to supporting artists and arts organizations in fostering public art appreciation in Edmonds. Our mission is to provide funds through grants that meet the following requirements:
Eligibility: To be eligible for grants, entities must be currently registered as a 501c3 organization.
Project Location: Grant applications must pertain to projects executed within the greater Edmonds community or on school property within the Edmonds School District. While organizations need not be based in our coverage region, projects must be executed within greater Edmonds for the benefit and enjoyment of Edmonds citizens.
Grant Usage: Grant funds must be used for the following purposes:
Procuring artist supplies that are used in the creation of the project.
Paying artist or instructor fees tied to the creation of the project, whether it’s tangible artwork or an artistic experience such as a class.
Evaluation Priorities: When evaluating grant applications, we prioritize the following factors:
Reach within the Edmonds community, including the number of people involved and the number of individuals who can enjoy the art or artistic experience created.
Promotion and support of local Edmonds artists.
Special consideration is given to projects that promote and support under-served populations, representing people of different ages, races and ethnicities, abilities and disabilities, genders, religions, cultures, and sexual orientations.
At the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation, we believe in the power of art to enrich communities and celebrate diverse voices. By providing financial support and promoting public engagement, we aim to cultivate a vibrant artistic landscape in Edmonds. Apply for a grant today and let’s create something extraordinary together!
