Public Art & Special Projects
Bringing Art to the Community
Throughout the years, the Foundation has proudly contributed more than $1,000,000 to fund multitudes of projects for the enjoyment of our community. The Foundation’s most visible contributions are seen throughout the City of Edmonds in prominent locations and contribute to the reputation of Edmonds as a regional arts destination. For the more than four decades, the Foundation has either fully or partially funded outdoor sculptures, art in public parks on streets, interpretive signage, flower basket pole sculptures, artwork inside public buildings, and much more.
Substantial grants are also given to assist with the funding of new and renovated facilities that enhance the community’s cultural life. This encompasses buildings that house the arts such as theaters, museums, galleries, art studios, and community centers. Examples include the Edmonds Center for the Arts, Cascadia Art Museum, Edmonds Library, Anderson Cultural Center, and ArtWorks.
