The Edmonds Arts Festival has grown from a small community art fair to one of the most prestigious in the Pacific Northwest, attracting artists from across the nation and Canada. The Festival provides a unique opportunity for patrons to meet artists and purchase their work in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking Puget Sound. The Festival offers free live entertainment, a juried gallery art exhibition and sale, a nationally-recognized juried student art exhibit, and a hands-on children’s art activity area.

The Edmonds Arts Festival features more than 160 booth artists, juried art from more than 400 regional artists, and over 1,000 pieces of art from K-12 students within the Edmonds School District’s boundaries. Support
Through the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation, the Student Art Scholarship Program is fully endowed and provides more than $30,000 annually in post-secondary education visual arts scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college level students. In addition, multiple grants (totaling $30,000) are awarded annually to area educators who apply for financial assistance to support visual arts related projects and curriculum-based programming.
Grant funding is provided to 501(c)3 organizations for projects, services, materials, and programs in the visual, performing, and literary arts. Multiple grants are awarded annually to a total of $20,000.
Funding is provided for outdoor sculptures, art in public parks and streets, interpretive signage, flower basket pole sculptures, artwork inside public buildings, and new and existing community arts facilities.

Scholarships & Grants

In addition, The Edmonds Art Festival Foundation provides over $25,000 in financial support of Edmonds School District teacher art instruction and funding of middle/high school visual art supplies.
